Online Business Secrets from Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs

Online Business Secrets from Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs

Postage StampsAs a group we’re strong. Using the collective consciousness of entrepreneurs and small business owners, we could raise our spirits to new heights. What if I was to tell you I want to create something that is kind of like Post Secret but for Entrepreneurs and business bloggers.  Although it doesn’t have to be a secret.

I have an idea that I want to share with you. This is an idea I want to openly share because it will require the opening of a Post Office Box. You would not need to open a PO Box, but I would. I’m willing to front the cost and I hope that you’re interested in contributing.  I believe that if we all collaborate, it can only lead to amazing things as we work on our own art.

Before I get into the idea, I want to explain some thoughts to you.

Everyday that goes by, Embryo is becoming strong and more aligned with purpose. What started with a simple spark, has begun to develop into deeper and deeper meaning. I wrote a lot about meaning and what Embryo stands for by talking about the World Cup. If you read over that post, I basically said that I have surrendered to the process of growing my online business. I’ve stopped chasing everything and realized that aligning with something that’s much greater than myself, I can allow the growth to happen organically.

I think it is in collaboration that the nature of art is revealed.

One of the major reasons for this online business is to inspire you to do the things that inspire you. I want to help you to realize your ideas are not too small to pursue. You’re not alone in the struggle to get off the ground and pushing through the toughest days will lead to amazing things. Amazing things will happen.

Post Office Letter BoxThat said, I don’t want you do hear it from only me. The idea was to use the collective intelligence of entrepreneurs. If you’re an online business owner or an entrepreneur, I am asking if you would be willing to share the most important lesson you could pass on to other entrepreneurs, business owners, and people trying to make the jump from corporate cubicle to living a life on purpose. Maybe this was advice passed on to you, maybe it’s a quote you came across that you keep on your desk, ect. Whatever it is, would you be willing to get interesting, creative, and add in some self-promotion into the mix for this idea?

What I would ask of you:

  • Think about the advice, tip, epiphany, or secret you would like to share with others
  • Get a Post Card (or DIY it up) and modify it to where your creativity and imagination will allow
  • Ensure your advice, tip, epiphany, or secret is on the Post Card somewhere – text or images work
  • Ensure to note your own website / Business Name so that we can refer back to you

For your time and effort in sharing, we would be putting your Post Card on display here with anchor text back to your business website or blog.  You could leave it anonymous and pretend it’s like post secret.  You could include everthing and still look at it like Post Secret but for Entrepreneurs and Business Bloggers.
This idea is about putting the most meaningful mantra into a creative format and sharing it with a massive number of strangers.  It’s about inspiring people to keep moving forward.

I’m currently reviewing a number of  names for such a project, but I really wanted to present the idea to all of you.

Would you contribute? Would you love to find out the best business secrets, tips, or epiphanies of amazing entrepreneurs? This is something I would contribute to, and I envision amazing things.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Sounds like a good idea. I’d send a postcard.

That’s awesome! I’m getting up all the details very soon and multiple ways to submit!

So guess I should think…think…think…think…and then I pondered this,

What if someone wanted to send a virtual post card or image post card?

    Just thinking…

    ;-)

    See you in the forums.

      Hey,

I like how you’re thinking! I’ve been mapping out multiple ways to submit the secret, tip, advice. I want people to be able to submit through whatever channel they feel most comfortable. Like with Linda from SmartStart, she didn’t feel crafty to make a crazy postcard and mail it. Instead of her not submitting at all, she made an audio/virtual post card.

I even thought that I suck, suck, suck at getting to the post office. Literally suck! And I might want to create something digital (collage made out of creative commons images or my own photographs). I am also going to be open to simple text submissions and then I can take the time to create something visual based on it. I want it to be super easy and more people can share their wisdom collectively.

I really appreciate the time to comment. Thanks!
