This week I turned the big 30. I woke up feeling groggy, and my joints felt surprisingly sore. Turning on the iMac to check e-mail (hoping someone bought some photography for their office), I noticed a few new items that were for Viagra. This is what it’s like to be 30 years old.
Instead of letting the spam e-mail get to me, I decided that my 30′s will be a time for me to achieve amazing goals and help amazing people become inspired to take action. I’m already taking control of my health, something insanely important for entrepreneurs to keep interested in with the amount of stress that can come from your own small online business.
I’ve made the decision to do my best to lead through action. I created these wombs so that each would attack an obstacle entrepreneurs face as they start or continue to work through their journey. We’re open to feedback on what you could use help with as you work towards your own sustainable business. If you think of anything let us know.
In the mean time, here is the recap for the Week Ending May 30th:

WooThemes and Scribe SEO Compatible Now
When it comes to using a premium theme for WordPress, I turn to WooThemes. Normally, I need to install a plugin like All-In-One SEO to optimize the site and to be compatible with Scribe SEO (a plugin and program that makes search engine optimization a breeze), until now. Woothemes had already updated their themes to allow for SEO customization, but with the lack of Scribe SEO integration I didn’t bother to stray from the AIO plugin. Scribe updated with version 2.0.1 and now Bitwomb runs on it and the WooThemes SEO.

Real Estate Photography And Doing Something Special
Doing work that means something to your customers. I talk about the fascination with real estate photography and reasons for my drive to take pictures for people soon to sell their home. This is an article with a bunch of pictures from a real estate photo shoot and the discussion could be used to help look into your own small business.

Plush Creative – Bunny Mutations
Amazing plush toys! I absolutely believe in custom plush toys and other toys for children or collectors. These bunny mutations are super creative. The work sparks desires for personal art projects. The ideas surface as I browse my Facebook feed and see the growing number of babies instead of friend pictures. This is a huge reason why I created Vizwomb. You never know when a visual bit of information will spark an idea to pursue.

Texture Photography Wednesdays: 7 Blue Sky Textures
Every Wednesday, I’ll be posting new texture photographs that bloggers could use for articles, designers could use for many things including texture layers, and photographers could use for their own projects too. The textures are licensed for creative commons. These textures, to start the project, are vibrant blue skies that were over London Ontario in early May.

Amazing Branding and Design for Hi-Fi Lo-Fi
Inspiring illustration for a business named Hi-Fi Lo-Fi. The Branding and packaging design is just amazing and I had to show off a part of the project. The color palette is awesome and fresh.

Faraday Munny in the Wild: 1 of Nuwomb 360
This project will be explained more in the coming week, but you can probably understand what it’s about. This is number 1 of the Nuwomb 360. Meaning that I want to create a 365 day photography project but I want to do something different at the same time. 360 is a dynamic number to me and coming full circle – so I started the project on the day after my birthday. When my 31st birthday comes around, I will have grown in this industry so much! This is my attempt at the continuous posting of photography for people to view and support.

I follow a really great group of people on Tumblr. One of the constant streams of inspiration comes from a moleskines tumblog. This drawing gave me an idea for a drawing of my own that I will eventually get to. The idea could be for my own wedding invitations (if the woman approves). I really adore the tumblogs that are curated and that’s why I follow and create my own. I hope that Vizwomb becomes that sort of inspiration to entrepreneurs in any field in the future.

E-Mail Newsletter Design For Renew You and True Nourishment
Showing a couple newsletter designs for a client. The article also looks at a few e-mail marketing options for your small online business. With a few different companies to choose from, setting up an e-mail newsletter or e-mail list for your business can be a big deal. I briefly mention a couple options but I do intend to get more detailed soon and give honest feedback instead of only recommending the one that pays affiliate commission.

Faraday Munny in the Wild: 2 of Nuwomb 360
The 2nd image of project Nuwomb 360. Faraday Munny goes for a wild ride on a local art sculpture. I really enjoy taking out my custom Munny design and I might get sad if someone does buy him soon. This art sculpture is one of my favorites as well!

Check it all out and there may be something the can help out your online business, or inspire you to do more great work. The key is to take action and keep going! I’ve got more awesomeness coming up this week related to Rewomb! This is going to be one of the best projects out there and a core part of the business.
