I can feel the confidence growing for my online business work. I am feeling more confident in my photography, my feelings related to photography and my authentic connection to photography and design. This is amazing for me. A big boost came from a CreativeLIVE workshop over the weekend with David duChemin. The way he talked really resonated with me because I think and talk about the very things he was saying. Having issues with depression, I can easily talk myself into thinking that I am getting everything wrong and it’s never going to work. I am so confident that I can really improve the world with my photography, my design, and my consistent drive to build relationships with people.
Business Building for Embryo

Last week I was pretty focused on the issue between WordPress, Thesis, and the GPL. Thankfully Chris Pearson of Thesis did create a split license and the theme is not GPL compliant. I still wouldn’t recommend the WordPress theme because I’ve found other themes to be much better for people starting out and for working with. Things that Thesis makes insanely annoying, are drag and click set up within a company like WooThemes WordPress Themes. I’m so thankful for the people that have linked over to this site based on the articles I posted. I cant thank you all enough!
Here are the articles from the past week:
- WordPress Country and the Province of Thesis – This article didn’t blame any overpricing on affiliate marketing, but it did ask a lot of questions. Read it over and check out the comments because you could learn that there are a lot of factors that come into play with respect to pricing anything.
- The WordPress, Thesis, GPL Issue Teaches a Lesson in Leadership – There is a message to be learned from the WordPress GPL, Thesis issue. I saw a number of things that teach us about leadership and reasons why you started to do what you do today. It’s all about meaning, passion, and being a part of something larger than yourself.
Here’s the development around the womb labs from the week of July 19:
Bitwomb! Design for Entrepreneurial projects that include blogs, websites, blog critiques, e-books, and e-mail newsletters!

Interesting enough, I update the social links last week and then I go and fully change the design for Nuwomb. Deciding to use Nuwomb as my full out London Ontario Photography Website. Bitwomb is still fixing up a number of things to do with the site and beginning to optimize it. We hope that Nuwomb shows up on the first page of google for a number of photography related keywords in the near future. The bitwomb webstie is going to be switching over to the same theme in a while.
We’re massively excited to show the great work we can help you do with your website too.
Article from Last Week:
- Design Matters, Especially Beautiful Design – This was an older post I moved over to bitwomb because it’s all about design. It was sitting on a dormant website that is not going to be used at all and I want the content to be available for people. Give it a read because design does highly matter and you should read about why!
Nuwomb! London Ontario Photographer specializing in Real Estate Photography, Wedding Photography and Lifestyle Photography
Over the last week, I’ve increased my focus on Nuwomb because I decided to stick with it for a London Ontario Based Photography business. I felt my confidence rise the other week once John and Alyssa booked me as their Wedding Photographer! I thought that since I’m already doing so much of my photography work there, it’s already showing everything I do and love about photography. I think people in London will appreciate the love for photographer there. I also delivered the final images for a real estate photography shoot to Melissa, a client. She talked to me about my photography and the business. I started to realize that people were not looking at me like a lost call center banker. It’s taken 6 months to wash that vibe off of me and my self confidence has really improved.
The photographs this week went all over Canada – From London Ontario Photography out to Calgary and Port Burwell. The past week also brought upon an amazing experience watching the David duChemin Workshop. I really connected with WHY I adore photography.
- London Ontario Western Fair Ride – This photograph by Scott shows off a crazy and vibrant ride at the Western Fair and an amazingly beautiful Sky! Photograph number 37 of 360
- Photograph Above London’s Western Fair – You’ve got to check out this pink dress. Could it be for your Wedding?
- 3 Words David duChemin Said to Make Me Cry – On Canada Day, we checked out the Arts Project Gallery and found this awesome installation related to Fear.
- Calm Intersection in Calgary Alberta – A simple photo from when we went on vacation in Vancouver BC.
- Port Burwell Ontario Wind Turbine Photo – While on tour in Medicine Hat, We were introduced to the Red Cliffs! This is a pretty rad HDR Photograph to check out
There were fewer posts on Nuwomb this week because I was busy fixing a lot of pages. Changing the design up a lot reminded me that I needed to fix a lot of backend site issues.
Rewomb! Idea and Entrepreneur Wellness Center
I am sad to say that Rewomb has been quiet. It’s becoming tougher to get it going than expected. Dan’s been very busy and so I opt to work on some other website issues. I am super confident we’ll get back into it very soon so that we can really help out some other people build their online business and get those ideas shipped.
I hope to have better news related to this website soon and feel free to ask me about it so that I start to feel really bad!
Vizwomb! Bits of Visual Inspiration
I’m further enjoying the development of Vizwomb. Remember in last weeks online business development, I mentioned that I wanted to post inspiration that I find online instead of simply reblogging content by the people I follow. I did this a few times last week and I noticed a few people start to follow me because of that content. If you’re trying to get more people to subscribe on Tumblr, I strongly recommend going out online to grab the content to curate the site with. That’s a big part of it, I’m super confident. S0unds simple but it’s easy to get lazy and just reblog cool things by others.
I’m going to be spending time to queueing up some content so that it becomes more consistent.
