Embryo Online Business Development: Week of July 12th

Online Business DevelopmentI’ve had a pretty intense week in regard to my own personal growth.  If you’re not aware I’m currently reading and working through the Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. I completed week 1 of 12 and it was very interesting.  This is an amazing book on reconnecting with your creativity or simply moving through possible blocks.  It’s a very powerful book for me because of my depression.  I am hoping it will help me with self-sabotage issues and getting my art out into the world.  Once I’ve finished, I would adore to help others go through the experience and work with them.  It’s amazing how it’s something I’ve been setting up with my multiple websites.  It’s also amazing how it relates to entrepreneurship and not just ‘art.’   Entrepreneurship is art in my eyes and thus everything can be seen in that light.  I’ll do my best to comment on the journey here.

Business Building for Embryo

Embryo - Small Online Business Development into Greatness

There were a couple of articles posted here on Embryo this week past week and I’m very excited to post a few more this week.  One coming up contains some important lessons learned related to Leadership.  I really hope that you come back and read this article because I believe it is essential to the success of any business, let alone an online small business.

Here are the articles from the past week:

  • Affiliate Marketing & eBook Overpricing – This article didn’t blame any overpricing on affiliate marketing, but it did ask a lot of questions.  Read it over and check out the comments because you could learn that there are a lot of factors that come into play with respect to pricing anything.
  • Why I Love MailChimp for E-Mail Marketing – Last week I went to login at MailChimp and I was greeted with the reminder of why I love using their service for E-Mail Newsletters and Marketing.  Check this post out to see why I adore them so much.
  • 32 WordPress, Thesis, and GPL Links to Help Formulate an Opinion – Before getting into more of how I feel on the issue, I went searching for information to see if I was totally off in my own thinking.  These links will help you understand the issues surrounding the GPL, WordPress and Thesis.

Here’s the development around the womb labs from the week of July 12:

Bitwomb! Design for Entrepreneurial projects that include blogs, websites, blog critiques, e-books, and e-mail newsletters!

Design by Bitwomb - Ebooks, Email Newsletters, and Blogs

This past week, I got the opportunity to work on a Newsletter header graphic for for a great e-mail series that’s being setup for organic gardening.  Once everything is finalized, I’ll definitely mention the e-mail series because I’m going to be signing up for it.  It’s a really cool topic and I love being exposed to the great work people are doing.

I’m slowly setting up a service that will be helping people set up their business blog or website.  I’ve got the structure set up, I’m just deciding on the features that go within each package.  I know I won’t have a free setup for people, I am looking to provide more value than just the act of setting up the blog.  My reason for doing the entire service is to help people that are stuck and never seem to start.  These people could be unsure their idea is any good, or they could just feel as if they need to know everything before starting.   The idea is to help people get started on their own interests and spark more ideas that will keep them moving on their journey.  I believe my own quality of life has improved from being able to blog and follow my own passions, regardless of building a business.  I do see that these people that I’ll help will begin to want to learn how they can start to earn an income to keep doing what they love.  Eventually the site will move into that realm if it didn’t start out with the desire to become a business of passion in the future. More on this soon.

Bitwomb was busy last week making updates to the websites within the womb lab.  My own social clubs were added in the header and I adore the look of them.    Feel free to have a look at them and add me to your networks!

Nuwomb! London Ontario Photographer specializing in Real Estate Photography, Wedding Photography and Lifestyle Photography

Nuwomb Logo

On Tuesday I was contacted by an old friend, one that we used to play a lot of soccer together. He recently got engaged and was looking for a Wedding Photographer! I enjoyed the wedding consult and we booked a date for July 2nd 2011. I’m so excited to do this for John and Alyssa. I’m starting to explore a name for Wedding Photography and any recommendations would be welcomed! I’m actually trying to think of an overall photography company name.  I’m leaning nuwomb to more of an experimental  and personal photography project website.

I finally took the jump and went with Tumblr for my real estate photography portfolio.  I’m still getting more of my work up on the portfolio this week.  I’m really pleased with the use of Tumblr for a photography portfolio.  It’s such a great and easy to use system.  I’m possibly going to use it for my other personal photography projects.

The photographs this week went all over Canada – From London Ontario Photography out to Vancouver, BC.

Rewomb! Idea and Entrepreneur Wellness Center

Rewomb LogoRewomb was pretty quiet.  We’re still trying to get everything finished.  Writing this is disappointing because it should be a greater focus! This is why these online business development posts are valuable for me.  I am noticing where I am slacking and Rewomb deserves attention because it will be a great way to help people turn their ideas into a functioning business product or service.  I know this post is happening on a Tuesday, and we’ve lost a few days in the week already, but I will be updating Rewomb and get things on track there.

Vizwomb! Bits of Visual Inspiration

Vizwomb logoVizwomb is about having fun collecting inspirational graphics and images.  This past week was a bit more quiet that I wanted it to be.  I told myself that I wanted to find more unique content to show – instead of reblogging graphics and posts in my own feed. Check it out! Feel free to recommend us on Tuesday and subscribe via RSS!

There will be a new inspiration update on Vizwomb everyday for the rest of the week! Promise!

Thanks and We look forward to continued Growth!

I commend you for making the commitment to follow through with something like you are doing. Many times we want to change but don’t want to take the time or make the effort to do what is necessary to thinking in a different way. BTW, the author of that book, if you don’t already know, was quite familiar with the concepts and principles of twelve step programs and those programs do work.
